The VIP Experience

Party Plane to New Orleans
Saturday, June 14
Sponsored by Pinnacle Airlines Corp.

We admit it: we always wanted to jet off on a private plane, just for dinner! Pinnacle Airline agreed to fly 40 people to the bayou and back on Saturday night, June 14. When the lucky bidders arrived at the airport, a Northwest Airlines charter jet was waiting, complete with free flowing wines for the journey.

Greeted with a glass of champagne, the flight was nothing less than a party at 30,000 feet! Upon arrival in New Orleans, bidders were whisked away in a caravan of limousines and taken to Restaurant August for a once-in-a-lifetime wine dinner with Chef John Besh. See what was served here. August is contemporary French, with a focus on local ingredients, inspired by Chef John Besh's classical training at the Culinary Institute of America.

Price included roundtrip charter airfare from Memphis to New Orleans, ground transportation, wine on the plane, hors d'oeuvres and a four course dinner with wines at Restaurant August, taxes, and gratuity. Keep checking for exciting auction items like this one offered in 2009!
